Meet The Doctor
Dr. Ace Jovanovski – Your Round Rock Prosthodontist / Dentist
What is a Prosthodontist? Dr. Ace Jovanovski, or “Dr. Ace” as his patients call him, has been providing exceptional comprehensive prosthodontics in Round Rock for many years. Undeniably, he has an established track record of going above and beyond and has a passion for what he does.
In 2001, he completed not one, but three degrees simultaneously – biology, chemistry, and psychology – at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Even though he learned a lot, he knew that there was so much more that he wanted to learn about. So, he continued to do research in the Dental School, Medical School, and The Cleveland Clinic. Shortly, he applied and was accepted to Dental School. After receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Case School of Dental Medicine, he was one of only three students chosen for the world-renowned prosthodontics residency at Louisiana State University.
In reality, learning always continues. To illustrate, he also achieved a fellowship award in advanced education from the distinguished International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Presently, Dr. Ace is the only dentist in the world who’s received a Master Certificate in Dental Technology (MCDT) from the National Board for Certification in Dental Technology. So long as there is new technology, Dr. Ace continues to learn.
In Spare Time…
Additionally, Dr. Ace enjoys being involved in study groups such as the Seattle Study Club and the Spear Study Group. In fact, he lectures in his spare time throughout the year.
Along with his devotion to excellence in dentistry, Dr. Ace also has other worldly passions. For instance, he loves photography. In addition, he is always cooking something from scratch on the weekends for his family. Furthermore, he is not afraid to get his hands dirty. Especially, in his garden or landscaping. His wife, Dr. Sarah , runs her own practice, Jovan Orthodontics, right next door. Most importantly, they have been blessed with two beautiful daughters—Avah and Aliviah. Indeed, Dr. Ace cherishes spending time as a family in the pool or just playing around together. Similarly, Dr. Ace and Dr. Sarah commit to bettering our community by supporting local area organizations. Undeniably, God is number one in their lives. With this in mind, they are active members in their church.

Prosthodontics are the cosmetic specialists in dentistry. We’re the original cosmetic dentists and we’re the only cosmetic dentists just because we’ve had that additional training beyond the four years of dental school. Must be remembered, in order to become a prosthodontist, they only pick a small handful of doctors into the programs. In my residency program, I only had two other doctors in my year. To repeat, we only had three prosthodontists accepted per year. On the positive side, selective acceptance allowed us to have a one-on-one mentorships. Given that, I had learning experience directly with the faculty and the staff. Basically, prosthodontists gain that experience and knowledge that some dentists don’t get in 25 or 30 years of practicing. In that environment of residency, we’re able to learn these new procedures and learn the mindset of being a specialist.
Dentistry is a really unique field because you’re able to interact with patients. In truth, every day is a challenge. Specifically, no two days are the same. However, every day brings up new opportunities to help people. But, I get out of bed every day knowing that I’m going to make a difference in people’s lives. In the long run, there is great pleasure to know that I create art and get to work with my hands. In fact, love creating things, and share my prosthodontic art with wonderful people every single day.
